First quarter of 2020

Let the new year begin! After we recovered from the terrifying little drone (thanks for the awesome gift, Mom and Dad), it was time for Cameron's birthday! He wanted to go to the bouncy house place. It's pretty fun! After Cam's birthday, Claire decided she was done crawling...at 10 months...come on, kid, that's too early. Cut your mom some slack, would ya?! Since we still had all the food from what was going to be our Thanksgiving, we had a second Thanksgiving feast. It was delicious! Can you taste the sweet potato casserole?! Claire's my little snuggle buddy. A few days a week she takes a nap on my lap. I love it. Rusty surprised Annie with a Portland trip for her birthday. They came to Salem and we went to see Star Wars. Then to DQ for Blizzards! So yeah, we have an In n' Out now. It's so good, and so dangerous to have close! Our first trip was for my birthday (we went on Saturday the 28th of December). Fall and winter

Fall is such a great time of the year. I love the cooler weather, all the amazing colors on the trees, and the kids going back to school. I started teaching my second year of early-morning seminary, and I was tired for months! Ha! Freshman in the house!!! Sharlie started middle school! She's gonna' kick the school bullies straight up in the face! Gemma, excited to start 2nd grade. She loves going to school! Our adorable little Claire-bear is six months old! Say what?! Time to run the Hayden Lake Marathon! 43 degrees, rain, and hills everywhere. 2,800 feet of climbing. It was hard! All done! Thanks for the awesome signs, kids! Maddie as "Glinda the Good Witch." I love watching Brooke's creations come to life! Sharlie as "The White Witch" from Narnia. Pretty cool design, Brooke. Get it? Cool? Not funny? Fine. Moving on. Cameron was a fire-breathing dragon!!! ...
