2019 Summer Highlights
So time got away from me and I've fallen way behind on the family blog. So here are a bunch of totally random highlights from 2019: Maddie had a school trip to Seattle. Going for a walk with Grandma and Grandpa Parkinson. Maddie didn't miss us at all. Free cupcakes at the school party? Yes please! Family hike Sing it, Gemma! Gemma the astronaut, with her accompanying solar system. Maddie wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for her b-day. She and Sharlie made out like bandits on the fishing game! We also discovered Maddie's a total pro at this game. That score is insane! I made buttermilk bars. They were decent, but tasted a little oily. Maybe I need to cook them hotter next time? We had three shows in three days in Spokane. It was great to be reacquainted with old friends. Playing at the Hamilton-Lowe Aquatic Center in Moscow. Waterslides! Claire mostly liked it. :) Teenagers be weird. ...
