Jenks - One Rockin' Family!

So we threw a totally awesome party at the Spokane Valley library on Saturday, March 9th.  The special occasion was the release of the third Jenks album, High Five a Dinosaur.   The absolute most amazing thing at the party was our huge 7-foot-tall dinosaur custom made by super fan Terry LaFrance.  My brother Whitney did all the artwork for the album, and Terry was able to create this from a small image I posted online.  He even took it one step further and gave it an animatronic arm!  This thing just blew me away, and every time I think about it I can't keep from smiling.  Once the dinosaur arrived it felt like everything was going to be just perfect for our party. Me and Terry with his awesome creation! Three days before the party I had an unfortunate wreck at Roller Valley.  I was doing fakie 360's (backward to backward) and one skate caught the other and down I went.  I bruised my knee, wacked my elbow, and slapped my wrist super ha...

So we recently discovered that baby Gemma loves to dance.  I guess that should be no surprise as we regularly hold dance parties in the living room (I'm sure the neighbors think we're crazy).  So we shot a little video of us dancing to the latest dance craze, "Gangnam Style."  Notice in the video how Gemma pauses at just the right moment of the song. There is no special editing there, she really does that!   The same weekend we shot our dance video we had mom and dad in town.  We had a great time with them, as always. Super cute mom and super sweet Gemma! Sharlie is so happy the weather is warming up!
