My Air Shark has arrived!

Image
It's a bird!  It's a plane!  No, it's.......Sir Reginald, my air shark!  So a few weeks ago there was a special internet deal on these air swimmers, helium-filled balloons that look like fish and swim around in the sky.  Well naturally it had my name written all over it, so I bought one and wrote a song about it.   When my air shark arrived, we did all of the assembly and then took him to the church building for the maiden voyage.  Check out the video of Reginald in action! This thing is totally awesome, and we all love it!   Reginald is currently at my office patiently awaiting his close up.  Soon I'll be shooting his green screen footage for the music video.  Sweet!!!

Gemma Kate Jenkins is born!

With May in full swing, and the flowers in bloom, we were looking forward to a fun weekend on May 11th. Brooke and I scrambled, calling some friends to watch the girls for the night, rearranging family plans, and we checked into the Valley Hospital. They started Brooke on a topical cervix medication, and after two doses things started to get exciting. At 1:30 a.m. Brooke's water broke, and her contractions hit full on at 1 minute apart. Intense is the word that c...

After the rigors of winter, all of us in the Jenkins family were ready for some sweet spring weather. While what we actually got was a lot of rain, there were still the opportune sun breaks, and we made the best of every opportunity we had. For the third year I performed at the Browne's Addition Easter Egg Hunt, at a park in downtown Spokane. The weather was absolutely perfect! Sunny and not too chilly, which is good because cold weather wreaks havoc on my electric guitar's tuning. Even so I think I re-tuned probably five times during the morning! Check out the pictures: We all did the newest Jenks-induced dance craze - The Caveman! "Flex your muscles big!"  By the way, bonus points if you spotted the cute pregnant lady in the background! A bunch of parents capturing the timeless memories.  We had a really great turn-out for this years Easter Egg Hunt.   Rocking it for the camera! Maddie and Sharlie were psyched to get gathering th...
