Return of the Nomad Ninja!

So for the past few years, Brooke and I have been performing at the Evergreen Ward's annual variety show. The first year we did a hip hop and swing dance, and the next year we did "The Nomad Ninja!" This crazy act combined Egyptian clothing, nun-chucks, 80's music, and creative board breaking (balsa wood). It's a unique act, to say the least. Well, the audience loved it, and while we were preparing something totally different for this year's variety show, we received so much positive feedback from last year's Nomad Ninja act that we just had to bring it back. Sharlie's 4th Birthday!

While many people were pretty nervous about April 13th being on a Friday, our sweet little Sharlie was nothing but excited for her special day. Brooke did a great job preparing for Sharlie's 4th birthday, and I think the day was a smashing success! Want to see what Sharlie did?  Then check out the video! So as you can see, we spent a fun lunch at Chuck E. Cheese's.  The kids played lots of games: Sharlie & Maddie played a rousing game of air hockey.  Maddie is rockin' the game face! Sharlie suffers bitter defeat. How the puck slid through all 10 fingers, we'll never know.  y the way, no one should lose in air hockey on their birthday. That's just not right! Fortunately the Chuckster was around to give Sharlie a B-day hug. Brooke had great success making "Cake Pops" for the first time. I'm pretty sure they're the most majestic treat known to man.
